New year, new resolutions...post more audio to Podomatic and blog it!This project has formally finished but the ripples continue. Our team is still involved in a TAFE Online Technologies project. We'll be able to trial a Sharepoint Portal for a server to store media resources, there's still some tweaking to be done to get this feature working with student accounts and undertake some testing.

It was great to have some time to work on our audiodynamism projects today. Anna and I are developing some resources which include audio for ABE students who are waiting to enrol or who have run out of work. We are updating them and adding to them all the time. Check out this work in progress!

WSI-OTEN Showcase

Audiodynamism was asked to present the project in a 20 minute slot at Kingswood campus - I feared the worst - a numb bum and face from smiling insincerely for the rest of the three hours. Wrong! Learnscope is almost over for this year and in some ways we're just getting started ... I guess that's because we're so much more aware of what a huge field audio is... and of the interesting possibilities for teaching and learning.If I were to do it all again I think I'd limit the number of audio tools explored to avoid getting overwhelmed. interesting discussion at our workshops - always - great brains under great strain! Alison commented that the interfaces & processes behind audio software are not yet user-friendly - true enough. But when you think about it, nothing about computers is really intuitive. What's intuitive about ones and zeroes? We just get used to technology with practise and then it becomes invisible/second nature.
